my precious moments

My little girl finally knows how to walk!! We have been waiting for her to walk since she turn 1 year old. Now that I no longer have to worry about her walking, I'm worrying now why she still can't talk yet. Was told by PD that by the age of 2 year old she should be able to put 2 words together eg give me, take that etc. Right now, she can't even say a single proper word, not to mention 2 words.

Actually she did say "byebye" once, and only once, after that I never hear her say again. Wonder why is that so. I was told by my mom that my brother only started talking at the age of 3. So... mm.. I feel abit better knowing that is "alright" to start talking later.

Tuesday, December 25, 2007 - Christmas present!! :

My elder brother bought for me and my hb I a ipod shuffle and a ipod nano for christmas, its what I've always wanted!! Oh and zel gets a rocking horse! mmmm.... was kinda shock when we open the present as we din expect this.

This horse neighs when u press the ear, and the tail wags too.

Friday, November 09, 2007 - :

Thank you all mummies. My Princess was hospitalised becos of Salmonella during August. It started with sudden fever, brought her to a PD immediately and PD prescribed some medicine. But in the evening fever rose to 39.5degree, so brought her to KKH A&E. But was sent back with exactly the same medicine as what the PD prescribed in the afternoon.

The following day my princess din get any better, then she started have diarrhoea and vomit at nite. On the third day though she din vomit, but diarrhoea like 14times by the afternoon, and she's refusing all sorts of liquid and food. Milk, ribena, 100 plus etc. Hb and I find that she isn't getting any better cos her fever can get very high within 30mins and go down again. And also she has become very lethargic. So we brought her to KKH again.

This time, doctor say that she has to be admitted. Cos she is dehydrated and needs to be put on a drip. Really feel very heartache to see her hand with the drip, worse after 2 days they change the drip to her leg, cos both has swollen cannot drip anymore.

Princess was discharged 5 days later, but 1 days later we bring her to KKH again cos she is drinking only like less than 200ml of milk and nothing else. Then she was hospitalised again! total of 7 days stay in the hospital and drip. End of it my little princess had loss alot of weight.

Thank god she is fine now, and put all weight again after a 3 month stay at my mom's place. Now she is a naughty little devil again. :)

Wednesday, August 22, 2007 - critical times :

My grandma is in the ICU ward now. The 1st time I visited her yesterday in CGH she was still not awake, I was standing outside the door looking at her quietly, immediately my tears started flowing. I was not prepared, not prepared at all to see my bubbly and cheerful grandma lying in a bed with lots and lots of tubes of needles sticking into her thin wrinkled skin and also those beeping machines which is used to take her heartbeat etc.

Today, I visited her in SGH (she was transfered last midnite) and she was asking me about my princess. She doted on my princess alot and I wished I could bring zel to visit her, but then cos zel's too young so she is not allowed to go in. When grandma was talking to me today, I tried my very best not to cry. Cos each sentence she spoke to me, she seem to be using alot of energy and it really hurts me to see her like tat.

Time flies, those memories of her chatting with me for hours at nite until we both fall asleep in my room when I was young (can't remember what we chat about but we can chat almost anything under the sky) are still vividly in my mind. Come to think of it, she must have felt bored chatting with a 10 year old little girl for hours at nite. Those times when the both of us took an hour journey bus going to chinatown to eat her favourite sesame seed paste, walking around, and many other more...

I'll be praying hard hoping that she will be able to get through this critical period.

Friday, August 10, 2007 - Busy to blog :

It has been a very long time since i blogged, hmmmm..... i have been to bz with my little monster and also my part-time job. Will try to take some pics of my girl and post it soon. Celebrated my 24th birthday 2 days ago, ar... can't really say celebrate, but my hb surprised me by walking into the house with the cake lighted up with candles singing the Birthday song. Soooo sweet!!! And bought me a new wallet cos my is damaged. Not a expensive one, but very happy that he realised that my wallet is damaged and i need a new one.

Tuesday, June 19, 2007 - Zelene's birthday! :

It's my princess actual birthday 2day!! Time really flies. Even though we have celebrated her birthday for her in a chalet 4 days ago,but din really manage to take much pictures as my bro was feeling rather sick, hb and I were too bz tat we forgot to take pictures too but anyway zelene is too tired. So since its Zel's actualy birthday today, HB went out to buy a cake secretly just now. Ok, 1 thing is, he thought 2morow is Zel's actualy day, tats why he say wait till 12am then cut cake. OMG!!! I wonder how in the world there is such a blurrrr father who dun even know when is his daughter's 1st birthday!! mmmm... To compensate that, at least he bought a rather delicous cake. Berry Sundae from Breadtalk.
